The Joy of Living…

Who says we really can’t survive life without a special someone? Whoever idea’s that, he or she is pathetic. Pathetic to the people around. Apathy is today’s malady. A serious one indeed.

I must say, i have learned to live life independently. Away from the "dictates" of my loving mom or brother.  I feed my own self, style my own self and even find means to actually survive a toxic day. I must not say i don’t miss them, i do. But i believe there are more important things to do than miss everyone- Live life the way you feel it.

I truly vouch that in order to be matured, we must have that "space" to grow and solidify our existence. Sure there could be mean people around, but life’s like that, just let them do whatever it is and let karma do the teaching.

Speaking for a twenty-year old generation is a heavy feat. Proving that life has generous surprises for me, i make sure i don’t miss it. I try to follow the dictates of my mind over heart and i am ok. ok is the real sense of everything, despite the adversities that come my way.

Meeting people is a tool to expand one’s horizon’s. Just be ready if it turns out that these people are nothing but nuts. It will make us strong.  Just do not compare yourself with others, for you may feel vain and bitterness. Anyhow, i do not see the point why we should read beauty magazines, sure it makes us feel ugly, don’t you think?

Lastly, to attain peace of mind is to be yourself minus the influence of this society. The joy of living can be found in every person we meet. The strangers we talk to or the clients we care about.

I have learned not to miss my boyfriend though, but i know he understands and missing him is another story.
